Create a Comic Strip

I always encourage students to get creative when preparing a class presentation. As a presenter, you should always try to find a way to spice up your presentation and wake up your audience at the same time. This is especially important if you are presenting your work on a day when several of your classmates are also giving speeches or presentations. There's nothing worse for observers (and teachers) than sitting through a never-ending stream of boring slide presentations.

A comic strip might be one great way for getting your point across in a presentation. Imagine the fun you could have and the discussions you could generate by recreating one of your history lessons or one of your recent field trip experiences in the form of a comic strip!

There a few web sites that make comic strip design fast and easy, but one notable site is Comic Creator, by Read, Write, Think.

We all know that the most entertaining presentations are the most memorable, so why not give it a try? A comic strip can be the difference between boring and "Bravo!"
